Next Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 with accessories spotted

Royal Enfield has worked on a host of new motorcycles and Shotgun 650 is one of them. The upcoming Shotgun 650 motorcycle has been tested several times and this time the production ready version of the motorcycle was tested with an accessory package. The accessorized version of the Shotgun 650 has never been tested before. Spy images show some of the accessories that Royal Enfield is most likely to offer with the bike when it launches.

The photos were shared by Gaadiwaadi on their website. Newly emerged spy footage shows the Shotgun 650 motorcycle test mule with a set of accessories on it. The motorcycle as expected is completely camouflaged but the accessories installed on it are very clearly visible. One of the first things you’ll notice on the bike are the wheels. All-black alloys were replaced with two-tone alloy wheels. Along with the new wheel set, the bike also gets bar end mirrors, auxiliary lights on the leg guards, mini floors and even a Tripper navigation system.

In another motorcycle, a clear lens turn indicator can also be seen. a blackened windscreen can also be offered as an accessory with the bike. Just like the other motorcycles in the Royal Enfield range, the manufacturer will offer a wide range of accessories for the Shotgun 650 motorcycle. These accessories would allow the buyer to customize the motorcycle to their liking. Royal Enfield have been working on their 650cc range of motorcycles for some time. The Shotgun 650 is probably the first motorcycle to hit the market. Besides the Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield is also working on the Super Meteor 650 and another version of the Shotgun 650 with a different body style.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motorcycle Tests With Accessories

The Shotgun 650 and other 650cc motorcycles are based on the platform used in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles. The motorcycle would come with features such as inverted forks, a single pod instrument cluster with digital fuel gauge, round taillights, dual rear shock absorbers, etc. The next Shotgun 650 motorcycle is sure to be priced higher than the current 650 twins. As for the engine, the Shotgun 650 will use a 648cc parallel twin engine that generates 47hp and 52Nm of peak torque.

It would be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield have really worked on the refinement levels of their bikes and the same is expected in the Shotgun as well. As for the launch, it is expected to be unveiled to the world in the coming months. Royal Enfield has been testing these bikes for some time and is expected to unveil the production version of the Shotgun 650 at EICMA this year. The official launch of the motorcycle could take place only next year. Apart from 650cc motorcycles, Royal Enfield has also worked on motorcycles like Himalayan 450 and new generation Royal Enfield Classic 350. Royal Enfield is also working on a Classic 650 motorcycle and after the launch of Himayan 450 one can expect a Scram 450 as well.
