Krishna is an associate of the practice of indirect taxation, with particular emphasis on customs and international trade. He has over 27 years of experience in customs, foreign trade policy, international trade, maritime transport and logistics.

Before joining BDO in India, he was associated with a larger accounting firm for 2 years and also worked with large Indian and multinational companies.

He has undertaken customs services, foreign trade policy and international trade, indirect tax advice and compliance in various verticals including aviation, wind, oil and gas, automotive, engineering, locomotives, healthcare, steel, chemicals, infrastructure, IT / ITeS, pharmaceuticals and the automotive auxiliary sector.

Krishna has advised and assisted clients in setting up operations in India. He has also dealt with consulting, compliance and implementation issues of SEZ and EOU / STPI for various clients.

He largely managed the implementation of the EO-Soft IT tool for EOU compliance, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Global Trade Management Tool – Amber Road, HS Classification Automation , post-entry audit, etc. litigation and representations before the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and other instances of appellate jurisdiction.
